So I have three concealers this month. The first is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in #15 Fair. I use this one where my skin is more on the pink/red side to even it out. The other one from Covergirl and Tarte is for my under eyes. The Tarte CC concealer (in light/medium) is to cancel out the dark circles under my eyes. Then I blend on top of that the Covergirl one because it's a lot lighter in color and therefore brightens my under eyes making me look way more awake than I actually am most mornings.
Since the weather has very slowly been warming up I've started using my bareMinerals loose mineral foundation in Medium. This gives me light to medium coverage and keeps my skin from getting too oily. I really love this foundation because it blends into the skin very well. Other loose powder foundations I've tried just haven't done as great of a job.
Spring is almost here and that means getting back into the bright colors! My blush is from Japonesque in shade 04. I really love this one because it's a bright yet subtle pink on the cheek. It is a very build-able color as well so if you wanted to go really bright you could. On top of my cheekbones, I've been using the Jane cosmetics Multi-colored Illuminating Powder. It's separated into different color sections so if I want a pinker highlight I can use the lower section, if I want a more golden one I use the top, overall being a very versatile product.
My favorite eye primer of all time is the Jane eye primer. If I put it on in the morning it keeps my shadow crease free all day, and I mean all day. It's $8, waaaaay cheaper than a lot of high end primers that do the same job.
The shadow I have been using lately is the duo by Pixi in Apricot Glow. They're shimmery shades but no so crazy where you look like a 5 year old with makeup gone wrong. The lighter shade is champagne like and the darker is a lighter brown. Both blend very well.
To top it off I've been liking Benefit's new Roller Lash mascara. I can't say it lives up to the claim that it curls your lashes without the use of a eyelash curler, but it does do a good job lengthening and adding volume.
And that's it for February and March! My next beauty favorites post will be towards the end of May. If you have any questions or comments please leave them below :)
