DIY Type

Oh my gosh this book is amazing, although I wouldn't really call it a book. It's more like a collection of amazing stencils in book format. It comes with two full sets of letters. One set is large capitals and the other is smaller capitals. The only other set I wish it included were numbers because those would be helpful for things like birthday cakes or cards.
There are also a few pages in the beginning with helpful guides if you want to use the stencils for embroidering, monogramming, or customizing. The author also gives you tips to get started for each category of personalization which is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who is a crafter and likes to use stencils a lot, or even is just starting out and wants to learn how to be creative with them.

Hilariously Graphic Girl Talk

And here's book number two! I have to say I really liked this one. For starters, the cover has a super girly eye-catching design with the black background and shiny gold designs. It's definitely a book that will stand out on a bookshelf or coffee table.
So, unlike most "guide to life" books this one is different because it's done in graphics. Each chapter (I believe there are 6, maybe 7) covers a range of problems in a specific area of life, and how to deal with them. She talks about things from love life to holidays to sex and family and much more. Most of the advice seems legitamate but there are definitly some ideas thrown in there that are hilariously funny and you kinda go to yourself "what?" and "seriously?". It's a book you don't want to read in public if you're shy of laughing out loud, cause its gonna happen.
If you're a person who really likes graphic books with explanations alongside, this one is an excellent pick. The author does a great job of mixing humor with real life situations. With the holidays coming up, it would also be a great gift for your girlfriends! Enjoy!
